OUR MALE DOGS REBEL Rebel, Libertys' High Intensity FR BREVET, was 14 years and 6 mos on Jan 4, 2008. He came to Arion when he was two from Butch Henderson of Liberty Bouviers in Maryland. Rebel has played a very important role in our breeding program with his indomitable spirit. Even now, as I treasure each and every day with this very old dog, I am amazed at how his unfailing great spirit. It is a privilege to have shared so many years and experiences with one of the most courageous and audacious working dogs I've ever known. I am forever grateful for him. As an extra bonus, Rebel is the great grandson of my very first Bouvier, Ch Cayce du Clos des Cerberes TT, who was a perfect template in both spirit and body for all Bouviers to come after him at Arion. This relationship allowed me to do some excellent line breeding to maintain certain qualities found in my early dogs. PEDIGREE ARION'S VINICIUS FR BREVET "VINNI" -- AVAILABLE Vinni is a marvelous combination of play boy and protector. Maybe a sort of cuddly James Bond. He is that rare combination of a dog who adores mingling with people, is not dog aggressive, is a real good time Charlie, but is able to sense real threat quickly and turn on the real protection. Vinni has sired some really excellent pups including Arion's Yen to Go to Fellstar, "GO" who is the top herding Bouvier in the US at this time. He also sired Can CH Arion's Zeta v Lammergeier FR Brevet and others who are working towards titles. Vinni has currently been cut from my training program solely because my club allows only two dogs at a time for training and I had a young male who urgently needed structure. Vinni is therefore, reluctantly, available to someone who would continue his ring sport career. He adores working and is quite handsome. He placed 1st excellent in the working class, and 2nd best male select overall at 2005 NAWBA CHampionships under breeder judge Jean Charles Masson. PEDIGREE ATHAR-BRID V HERLAND Athar is now 18 mos old and my rising star. He came from an exceptionally important breeding by Carolyn Herle. His father was Loco PH1, PH2, Met lof/Obj, considered by most as having had the strongest working character of any Bouvier of recent times. His father, Tomba, was another great KNPV dog who had indelibly marked the breed. His dam is Brid-Shbia v Fokkro-hof BH who is from one of the breed's best working bitches, Shiba-Gaby vd Braboheove KNPV PH1 PH2. Athar is a vigorous, spirited male who, fortunately, is not only full of strong drives, but is also responsive in training. He is a joy to work. PEDIGREE ' ARION's TORC Torc began his life as the working Bouvier of my dreams. An attack by a large pit bull when Torc was only 9 mos old gave seriously injured his jaw and ear canal, making it impossible to continue with his working career. It took three years to heal. Once healed, it was as if he never stopped working. He is a sound and courageous working dog. He showed just a little of what he has during the 2005 NAWBA character and courage tests.Torc is full of heart. PEDIGREE ARION's VIRTUS VICI Virtus has sired two of my most wonderful dogs, Arion's Batuque and Arion's Wizard's Opus. He is a wonderful working dog with strong drive and courage. Unfortunately, he slipped through the cracks in completing a training program due to a lack of decoys available. This is a sad loss for the working Bouvier. Virtus has recently been neutered due to a spider bite infection. Happily the neutering has not altered his outlook on life and he would still like to find an owner who would work him in protection sports while he's still vigorous.PEDIGREE
